ETHUSDT Elliott Wave: Flat Correction Toward 2,156-2,003

Five waves up from the June low at 1,505 into the September high near 2,800. Now the part I don't enjoy: the pullback.

I don't enjoy it because corrections test patience more than any rally does. But the structure on ETHUSDT is clear enough to map, so let's map it.

What is the Elliott Wave count on ETHUSDT right now?

The rally from 1,505 is a five-wave impulse. Wave (i) and (ii) set the base in June, wave (iii) carried the bulk of the advance, wave (iv) built a sideways contracting triangle through late August and early September, and wave (v) topped out near 2,800 in September.

That triangle matters. Triangles in the fourth-wave position usually lead to one final thrust, and that is exactly what wave (v) delivered. Once the fifth wave finishes, the market owes a correction to the whole advance.

The low at 1,505 also marks the end of a larger (5) and (c) degree move, so this rally has real weight behind it.

Why does ETHUSDT look like a flat and not a zigzag?

(a) and (b) are already in. What gives it away is wave (b): it retraced almost all the way back to the top of wave (a)'s start, near the September high.

A deep (b) wave like that points to a flat correction, not a sharp zigzag. In a zigzag, (b) stays shallow and (c) drives hard past (a). In a flat, (b) overshoots or nearly retraces everything, and the market grinds sideways to lower in a more contained way.

I'm reading this as a flat. That keeps the corrective structure orderly and puts wave (c) as the last leg down before the larger trend resumes.

Where could wave (c) of the ETHUSDT correction end?

The target zone for (c) is 2,156 to 2,003, the 0.5 to 0.618 Fibonacci retracement of the entire rally from 1,505 to 2,800. That is the standard pullback window for a correction inside a bullish structure.

Price is still around 2,500, so (c) has a long way to go. Roughly 350 to 500 points of downside sit between current price and the target zone.

The chart shows the path I expect: a decline into that zone, then a turn back up. The blue arrow marks the projected recovery after (c) completes, with price pushing back toward the highs and beyond.

What invalidates the ETHUSDT bullish count?

A break below 1,505 cancels the rally count. That is the start of wave (i), and no valid impulse can retrace past its own origin.

Until that level breaks, the correction is just that: a correction inside a larger advance. A drop to 2,156 or even 2,003 does not damage the count. It is what the count asks for.

Traders who confuse a normal wave (c) with a failed rally are the ones who sell the low. Know where the structure actually breaks, and it is nowhere near 2,500.

The pullback is the setup. The 1,505 low is the line. Everything between is noise inside the count.

Key Takeaways

  • •ETHUSDT completed a five-wave impulse from the June low at 1,505 into the September high near 2,800.
  • •The ETHUSDT correction reads as a flat because wave (b) retraced almost fully back to the top.
  • •Wave (c) of the ETHUSDT correction targets 2,156 to 2,003, the 0.5 to 0.618 retracement of the whole rally.
  • •A move below 1,505 invalidates the entire ETHUSDT rally count; anything above it keeps the structure intact.
  • •With price near 2,500, the ETHUSDT wave (c) decline is not finished and still has a long way to go.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where could the ETHUSDT correction end?

The target zone is 2,156 to 2,003, the 0.5 to 0.618 Fibonacci retracement of the rally from 1,505 to the September high near 2,800. Price is still around 2,500, so wave (c) has further to fall.

What invalidates the bullish ETHUSDT Elliott Wave count?

A break below 1,505, the start of wave (i). Below that level the five-wave rally count is off and the structure needs to be rebuilt.

Why is the ETHUSDT correction labeled a flat?

Wave (b) retraced almost all the way back to the top of the move, which is typical of a flat. A zigzag would show a shallow (b) and a sharper (c).
